Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 13, 2026

Browser Architect (“we”, “us”, or “the extension”) is committed to protecting your privacy through a local-first architecture.

1. Data collection and usage

Browser Architect operates on a zero-collection principle:

2. Data storage

All data is stored locally using Chrome’s Storage API:

3. Permissions usage

Tabs permission

TabGroups permission

Windows permission

Storage permission

UnlimitedStorage permission

4. Data portability and control

You have complete control over your data:

5. No third-party access

Browser Architect contains:

6. Opening external links

When you click “Open” on saved URLs, you navigate to those websites via your browser. Those sites are subject to their own privacy policies — Browser Architect has no involvement in, or access to, your interactions with external websites.

7. This website

This site is a static page. It stores your theme and language choice in your browser’s local storage and loads a webfont from Google Fonts. The issue report form sends only what you type in it — your email address, the issue type, and your description — to Web3Forms, which delivers it to us by email. Nothing else is collected, and there is no analytics on this site.

8. Updates to this policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect new features or legal requirements. Changes will be indicated by the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the extension after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

9. Contact

Your privacy is our priority. We built Browser Architect with privacy as a core principle, not an afterthought. Your tabs, your data, your device — period.
